For those of you that missed it somehow, Cavepainter Ed Wray took a fall on Saturday night, injuring his wrist before having a chance to play Sunday (I think the appearance of the Quinnettes may have brought on a bit too much exuberance). Word in is that he has had surgery. In any case, I'm sure ALL of Muffin is pullin' for you Ed! All I can say is it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. Take care buddy and we hope you make a quick recovery!

Yikes!
What a kick in the pants, I am Muffin virgin no more! And proud of it! Sunday night at the fire, late, with movie going in the back gound, I laughed like I have not in YEARS! You guys are DA BOMB, as the youngn's say.
It wqas well worth the drive up from Strawbery Music Fest.
See you around and at next Muffin...

Let's send good vibes to Ed.
Ed's had surgery yesterday. I hope and assume he will be OK...but a broken wrist for a guitarist is a bit more scary than for the rest of us.
I very much appreciate the kind souls who gave him a ride to the hospital on Saturday!!! Thank you!!!!
Thanks also for posting these photos of Cavepainters & Friends! Maybe I can make it as a rock & Roll band photographer...uh uh...
Ed W here,
Thanks for the good wishes.
No, the surgery has not happened yet. I'm scheduled to go under the knife Monday morning, 6/4/07. It's been rather uncomfortable waiting but the prognosis is good. I should be able to get back to guitar playing in two or three weeks. Special thanks to Gary for the ride to hospital.
Love to all
Good to hear of the positive prognosis Ed, you come on by the Plough as soon as you can. I would love to see you up at Covelo if for nothing else but relaxing.
John
